- 12 ozs Morello cherry (in syrup)
- 1 Tbsp kirsch
- 1 Tbsp sugar
- ⅞ cup cream (48% fat)
- 1 Tbsp powdered sugar
- ¼ tsp vanilla extract
- 4 chocolate Brownies (crumbled)
- To decorate
- 2 ½ ozs plain Chocolate (70% cocoa solids, coarsely grated)

Preparation steps
1.
Drain the cherries, reserving the liquid. Heat the liquid in a small pan, with the kirsch and sugar and simmer for about 5 minutes, until syrupy. Remove from heat and add the cherries. Set aside to cool completely.

Whisk together the cream, icing sugar and vanilla until thick. Set aside

Place a layer of crumbled brownie in the base of 4 serving glasses. Spoon a layer of cherries on top, then a layer of cream. Repeat the layers, ending with cream.
4.
Sprinkle with grated chocolate and chill until ready to serve.
