- 125 grams light Molasses
- 100 grams Peanuts (unsalted, roasted)
- 50 grams Hazelnuts (roasted)
- ½ tsp salt
- 25 grams butter
- ½ tsp baking soda
- vegetable oil (for greasing)

Preparation steps
1.
Mix the sugar and molasses with 125 ml of water (approximately 1/2 cup) in a pot and bring to a boil while stirring.
2.
Boil the sugar mixture over high heat to form a light caramel, without further stirring (145°C / 293ºF on the candy thermometer).
Chop the nuts coarsely and mix with salt.
3.
When the caramel has reached the correct temperature, mix in the nuts, bring to a boil and cook for another 2-3 minutes. Then, remove from the heat and stir in the butter and baking soda.
4.
Pour the caramel onto a greased baking sheet and spread as thinly as possible with a lightly greased spatula. Allow to cool and then break into small pieces. Store airtight.
