- 10 firm, ripe Apricot
- 3 Tbsps brown sugar
- 2 Tbsps butter (cold) (cut into small pieces)
- 200 grams Whipped cream
- 1 pkg Vanilla sugar

Preparation steps

Rinse the apricots, pat dry, cut in half and remove pits. Grease a baking dish with a little butter. Arrange the apricot halves, cut-side up, in the pan and sprinkle with sugar. Distribute butter over top and broil until golden brown and the sugar begins to caramelize (or bake in a preheated oven at 250°C (approximately 475°F).

Meanwhile, whip the cream and vanilla sugar until stiff.

Serve the caramelized apricots with the whipped cream.
