- 4 Chicken thigh
- 4 Chicken wing
- 5 onions
- 600 grams Pumpkin (or squash)
- salt
- freshly ground peppers
- 2 Tbsps vegetable oil
- 250 milliliters dry white wine
- 1 Cinnamon stick
- 1 sm can Saffron
- 2 Tbsps honey
- 2 Tbsps Sesame seeds

Preparation steps
1.
Rinse the chicken legs and wings and pat dry. Peel the onions and cut into rings. Cut the pumpkin flesh into cubes.

Season the chicken legs with salt and pepper and sauté until brown on all sides in a roasting pan in hot oil. Remove from the roasting pan and sauté the onion rings shortly with the diced pumpkin. Deglaze with the white wine. Add the cinnamon stick and saffron threads and place the chicken pieces on the vegetables.

Brush the chicken with honey, salt, and pepper. Cover and cook for about 35 minutes. If necessary add a little white wine. Season with salt and pepper. Serve sprinkled with sesame seeds.
