- 80 grams Basil
- 350 milliliters Apple juice
- 3 Tbsps lemon juice
- 250 grams jam sugar
- 4 centiliters Mint liqueur

Preparation steps

Rinse the basil, shake dry and cover with 150 ml (approximately 2/3 cup) hot water. Let stand for about 10 minutes. Drain through a sieve and bring to a boil with the apple juice, lemon juice and sugar. Cook for about 4 minutes until bubbly, stir in the mint liqueur and cook until a drop of jam jells when placed on a frozen saucer.

Distribute between sterilized jars. Store in the refrigerator.

Serve with toast and cream cheese, if desired.
