- 1 Red chili pepper
- 2 centimeters ginger
- 1 garlic clove
- 300 grams Broccoli
- 2 Chicken breasts (each about 140 grams)
- 1 Tbsp sesame oil
- 1 l Dashi
- 200 grams Rice noodles
- 1 handful Fresh herbs (Thai basil and cilantro leaves)
- 3 Tbsps soy sauce
- 1 pinch brown sugar
- 1 Tbsp Lime juice
- fried onion (for garnishing)

Preparation steps
1.
Rinse chile pepper, remove seeds and ribs, cut into rings. Peel and finely chop ginger and garlic. Rinse broccoli florets and cut into equal peices. Rinse chicken and pat dry.

Heat oil in a saucepan and saute chile pepper, ginger and garlic briefly. Add dashi broth and bring to a boil. Add chicken and noodles, simmer for about 10 minutes on low heat. After 5 minutes of cooking, add broccoli. Remove chicken from the soup and cut or tear into strips, return to soup. Rinse herbs, shake dry, pluck off leaves and add to the soup. Season with soy sauce, sugar and lime juice. Garnish with fried onions and serve.
