- 6 cups mussels
- olive oil (extra virgin)
- 1 onion (finely chopped)
- 1 garlic clove (finely chopped)
- 2 carrots (finely diced)
- ½ cup Celeriac (finely diced)
- ⅔ cup white wine
- 3 Tomatoes (diced)
- 1 chili pepper (diced)
- 18 ozs Spaghetti
- 2 Tbsps parsley (finely chopped)

1 großer Pot, 1 Cutting board, 1 Small knife, 1 Large knife, 1 Tablespoon, 1 Skillet, 1 Wooden spoon, 1 Sieve, 1 Measuring cups, 1 große Bowl
Preparation steps
1.
Sort the mussels. Throw away the open ones and wash those that remain.
2.
Heat 4 tbsp oil in a large pot and fry the onion and garlic. Add the carrot and the celery. Quench with 250 ml water and the white wine. Stir in the tomatoes and the chilli. Season with salt and ground black pepper and bring to the boil.

Add the mussels to the pot, cover and leave to cook for 8 minutes stirring occasionally. Remove any mussels that remain closed.
4.
Cook the spaghetti in sufficient salt water until al dente and then drain. Add the pasta to the mussels in the pot, sprinkle with parsley and mix well. Arrange on plates and serve immediately. Goes well with a glass of white wine.
