- 0.333 cup Apricot Jam
- 1 Chocolate cake (26 cm | 10" ?)
- 2 ⅔ cups Dark chocolate (melted)
Preparation steps
1.
Melt the jam in the microwave then brush over the top and sides of the cake.
2.
Pour three quarters of the chocolate on top of the cake. Use a palette knife to smooth the top and spread it evenly down the sides.
3.
Spread the rest of the chocolate in a thin layer onto a marble slab. Leave to set.
4.
Use a meat cleaver at a 45 degree angle to make chocolate curls. Carefully lift the curls onto the cake.
