- 8 cups chicken stock
- 2 cups Beef stock
- 1 green Cabbage (sliced into 1/4-inch ribbons)
- 2 sweet onions (sliced)
- 2 stalks Celery (trimmed and diced)
- 1 Tbsp garlic cloves (minced)
- 2 cups canned Diced tomatoes
- ½ cup fresh lemon juice
- ⅔ cup light brown sugar
- ¾ cup Golden raisins
- salt (to taste)
- peppers (to taste)

Preparation steps
1.
Place stock in a large pot over medium-high heat and bring to a boil. Add cabbage, onions and celery; bring back to a boil and reduce heat to medium; cook for 30 minutes.
2.
Add garlic and diced tomatoes; cover and bring to a slow simmer; cook for 30 minutes. Add lemon juice, brown sugar, raisins, season to taste with salt and pepper. Cover and continue simmering for 30 to 40 minutes longer.
3.
Ladle into bowls and serve.
