Preparation steps
1.
Rinse duck, pat dry, season with salt and pepper inside and out and season with thyme inside, place into a large roasting pan and roast in preheated oven at 180°C (approximately 350°F) for about 1.5 hours. Gradually add broth to the pan. Peel oranges and cut into wedges. Whisk honey with a little water. 10 minutes before the end of roasting, brush duck with honey mixture and arrange orange wedges around. Remove duck from the oven. Set aside duck and orange wedges. Simmer down sauce a little bit, strain through a sieve, add orange juice and Grand Marinier and bring to a boil. Reduce sauce slightly and season with salt and pepper.
2.
Arrange duck on oranges and drizzle with the sauce. Serve.
