- 0.333 cup softened butter
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- 4 fresh eggs
- 1.333 cups Ricotta cheese
- 1 medium Orange (juiced)
- 1 Tbsp fresh Orange zest
- 1 cup flour
- 1 cup Almond flour
- 2 tsps Baking powder
- 3 Tbsps Orange marmalade
- 1 ¼ cups finely grated Dark chocolate
Preparation steps

Preheat the oven to 350°. Light grease a 10-inch springform pan with butter and dust with flour, tapping out any excess flour.

In a medium bowl, cream the butter and sugar together. Stir in the eggs one at a time. Add the ricotta, 2 tablespoons of orange juice and the orange zest; mix well. Sift the flour, ground almonds and baking powder into the wet mixture and stir to incorporate. Pour batter into the prepared springform pan; smooth the top with a spatula or the back of a spoon.

Bake for 35 to 40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean. Cool on a wire rack and release cake from springform pan.

In a small saucepan set over medium heat, combine marmalade and 1 1/2 tablespoons orange juice. Stir until syrupy, about 2 minutes. Remove from heat and brush over the top of the cooled cake and sprinkle heavily with grated chocolate. Slice and serve.
