- 2 Tbsps Oil
- 1 medium onion (peeled and chopped)
- 1 clove garlic cloves (peeled and chopped)
- 2 cups canned Tomatoes (chopped)
- 2 cups canned Kidney beans (drained and rinsed)
- 3 cups chicken stock (or beef stock)
- 1 cup Bucatini (or fusilli)
- fresh Basil (to garnish)

Preparation steps
1.
Heat the oil in a large pan and gently fry the onion until translucent.
2.
Add the garlic, fry for 2 minutes then add the tomatoes, kidney beans and stock.
3.
Bring to a boil and simmer gently for 10 minutes then add the pasta.
4.
Cook until the pasta is tender and serve with basil leaves as garnish.
