1 Citrus juicer, 1 Tablespoon, 1 Bowl, 1 Cutting board, 1 Small knife, 1 Mini food processor, 1 Small skillet, 1 Small plate, 1 Baking sheet, 1 Parchment paper, 1 Kitchen scale

Preparation steps

Put all the ingredients except the demerara sugar in a mixing bowl and knead into a smooth dough. If the dough is too crumbly add 1-2 tablespoons water.

Shape into a 3-4 cm|1 1/2" thick roll. Roll in demerara sugar, then wrap in cling film and chill for at least 1 hour.

Heat the oven to 180°C (160° fan) 350°F gas 4. Line a large baking tray with non-stick baking paper.

Cut 1 cm thick slices from the roll and press the surface of each in demerara sugar.
5.
Place on the baking tray and bake for 15 minutes until golden. Cool on the baking tray for a few minutes, then place on a wire rack to cool completely.
