Cyndy Ufkes graduated from Le Cordon Bleu culinary school in 2003 and then began working in the test kitchen at a major newspaper. She owned her own catering company for many years, and also edited a cookbook. In addition, she has worked in test kitchens for major food companies and is a recipe developer and food stylist. Cyndy currently works as the US Recipe Editor for EatSmarter and co-founded her own culinary blog focused on food and wine, where she writes, edits, and photographs original content. She also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and English. She lives in Los Angeles.
