4 ozs fresh pressed lemon juice
3 ozs sugar
18 ozs water (At least 4 oz. of non-carbonated, the rest to taste)

Preparation steps

1.

Bring the sugar and approximately 3 ounces of water to a boil. Cook until syrupy in it's consistency, then set aside and let cool.

2.

Slice the watermelon, remove the seeds, and separate the flesh from the shell. Place the fruit, lemon juice, and 3 tablespoons of ice in a blender, then puree. Pass through a fine strainer, if you'd like. Mix with the syrup and carbonated water.

Fill glasses with ice, then top with the lemonade and serve.
