Preparation steps

In a pot, cook lard with spices. Peel and finely chop onions and apples. Once the lard becomes golden, remove the spices and stir in apples and onions. Cook until apples and onions are lightly colored, then transfer mixture to a serving dish. Refrain from moving the dish while the lard solidifies.

Serve spiced lard with cheese, bacon and bread.
