Ingredients

For the leg of lamb
1 ½ kilograms Leg of lamb
salt (pepper)
1 garlic clove
1 Tbsp sharp Mustard
2 Tbsps butter
For the crust
2 garlic cloves
3 Tbsps butter
4 Tbsps chopped Fresh herbs (Marjoram, thyme, rosemary, parsley)
1 Tbsp breadcrumbs

Preparation steps

1.

Rinse the lamb, pat dry and rub with salt and pepper. Peel and mash the garlic, then mix with the mustard. Sprinkle over the leg of lamb and marinate 1 hour.

Melt the butter and sprinkle over the leg of lamb. Roast for 10 minutes in a 230 degree preheated oven, then braise gently at 180 degrees for 40 minutes.

3.

For the herb crust, peel and crush the garlic and mix with the herbs, the breadcrumbs and butter. Encrust the leg of lamb and cook an additional 15 minutes.
