1 cup unsalted butter
1 cup caster sugar
½ tsp vanilla extract
¾ cup condensed milk
3 cups self-rising flour
5 ozs white chocolate (roughly chopped)

1 Cutting board, 1 Small knife, 1 Tablespoon, 1 Bowl oder Messbecher aus Glas, 1 Teaspoon, 1 Sieve

Preparation steps

Heat the oven to 180°C (160° fan) 350°F gas 4. Line 2 baking trays with non-stick baking paper.

Beat the butter and sugar in a mixing bowl until pale and then stir in the vanilla and condensed milk.
3.
Sift in the flour and work to a soft dough with your hands. Mix in the chocolate.
4.
Roll small pieces of dough into balls and place well apart on the baking trays. Flatten with your fingers.
5.
Bake for 15-18 minutes, until golden brown at the edges, but still a little soft.
6.
Cool on the baking trays for a few minutes, then place on a wire rack to cool completely.
