Preparation steps

1.

Rinse carrot thoroughly with warm water, but do not peel. Finely grate on a box grater.

2.

Boil the grated carrot with milk in a small pot. Whisk in the spelt. Reduce heat to low and cook for 3 minutes, stirring constantly.

3.

Purée with an immersion blender, if desired. Let cool slightly before serving.
