Carrots are ideal as a first supplement because they provide extra carotene and folic acid. However, if your baby is prone to constipation, it is better to use apples, which stimulate digestion.
For a drinking porridge: Instead of the grated carrots use 2 tablespoons of carrot juice and instead of semolina use rice flakes.
