Preparation steps

1.

Rinse tomatoes, remove stems and cut into slices. Rinse the lettuce and shake dry. Mix quark with the pesto and season with salt and pepper. Fry bacon until crispy in a pan in hot oil. Then drain on paper towels. Toast white bread in a panini press (or toaster) until crispy.

2.

Spread quark mixture on 4 slices of bread and top with the lettuce, tomato, bacon and remaining bread slices. Serve with guacamole, if desired.
