2 Banana leaf

3 tsps Raw cane sugar
1 pinch Nutmeg
4 tsps butter

Preparation steps

Peel and cut the plantain into slices. Cut the banana leaves in half and then cut 1/2 cm (approximately 1/4 inch) wide strip from each. Rinse and peel the orange. Cut the peel into fine strips. Combine the orange peel, sugar and nutmeg and stir in the plantain slices. Place some of plaintain mixture in the center of each leaf and top with 1 teaspoon of butter. Form into packets and tie with banana leaf strips to secure. Preheat oven to 200°C (approximatley 400°F) and bake for 25 minutes.
