Preparation steps

Add the lemon juice and 500 ml (approximately 17 ounces) of water to a bowl. Cover and chill overnight. Bring the sugar and 120 ml (approximately 4 ounces) of water to a boil. Cook for 5 minutes, then let cool. Strain the lemon juice into a jug, add the sugar syrup, and mix well.

Rinse the lemon in hot water, then thinly slice. Mix the lemon slices and ice cubes into the lemonade and serve immediately.
