4 fresh King prawn (shelled and deveined)
1 stalk Leeks (rinsed and trimmed)
salt
freshly ground peppers
1 garlic clove
1 Tbsp chopped parsley
juice of Limes
2 Tbsps dry sherry
1 tsp honey
1 tsp freshly grated ginger
3 Tbsps sesame oil
1 Lime (cut in slices)

Preparation steps

Cut leek into approximately 15 cm (approximately 6 inches) long pieces, cut along the middle and blanch 4 full leaves in a pot of boiling salted water briefly, drain, rinse with cold water and drain again.

Peel garlic and squeeze through a garlic press. Mix garlic in a bowl with ginger, parsley, honey, lemon juice, sherry and 2 tablespoons sesame oil and season with salt and pepper. Add prawns to the bowl and marinade in the mixture for about 20 minutes. Remove prawns from the bowl, wrap with a leek leaf and stick with a wooden skewer.

Heat remaining oil in a pan and add prawns, Slowly simmer for about 5 minutes, add marinade, heat, remove and serve garnished with lime slices.
