3 ozs jarred Pearl onion (drained)
9 ozs pureed Tomatoes
¾ cup Heavy cream
peppers
14 ozs Pasta
½ bunch parsley
5 ozs Peas (frozen)

Preparation steps

1.

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Heat the oil in a pan. Add the tomato paste, sugar and drained onions and sauté, stirring, for 30 seconds.

Add the pureed tomato and cream. Season with salt and pepper, bring to a boil and cook over medium heat until thickened, stirring occasionally.

3.

Cook the pasta in the pot of boiling salted water until al dente according to package instructions.

4.

Meanwhile, rinse the parsley, shake dry, pluck leaves and chop finely.

5.

Add the peas to the pasta a few minutes before end of cooking time. Drain the pasta, then toss with the tomato sauce, sprinkle with parsley and serve.
