Preparation steps

1.

Beat the egg whites until stiff. Sprinkle in sugar while stirring. Beat the mixture until stiff peaks form.

Fold in the coconut and orange zest carefully with a mixing spoon.

Preheat oven to 120°C (approximately 250°F). With two spoons set cherry-sized mounds of the mixture on a parchment paper-lined baking sheet and bake for about 25 minutes (they will dry more as they bake), so that they remain white. Remove and allow to cool on a wire rack. Drizzle with melted chocolate to taste.
