6 slices white Bread (crusts removed)
2 Tbsps butter (softened)
8 slices Cheddar cheese (may substitute cheese of your choosing)

Preparation steps

Preheat grill pan over medium heat. Butter one side of 4 slices of bread. Place 2 slices of bread butter-side-down in the hot grill pan and arrange 2 slices of cheese on top. Place unbuttered bread slice on top of cheese. Arrange 2 slices of cheese on top of the unbuttered bread and add remaining bread slices butter-side-up on top of the sandwich.

Grill until golden brown, about 2 to 3 minutes, turn sandwiches over, continue cooking until the cheese is melted, about 2 minutes. Slice into strips and serve.
