Preparation steps

1.

Rinse the sweet potatoes and slice lengthwise into wedges. Blanch in boiling salt water for about 5 minutes and drain well.

2.

Season the oil with chile powder, salt and pepper. Spread the potato wedges on a baking sheet and mix with the oil. Bake for about 5 minutes at 250°C (approximately 500°F). Brush with more oil and bake for another 5 minutes. Remove from the oven.

3.

Serve immediately.
