Ingredients

For the chicken
12 Chicken wing
2 Tbsps soy sauce
1 Tbsp paprika
1 tsp cayenne pepper
2 Tbsps runny honey
salt
peppers
For the rice
1 ½ cups Basmati rice (cooked and cooled)
½ head Broccoli (separated into florets)
1 carrot (peeled and diced)
2 Tbsps Sesame seeds

Preparation steps

Preheat the oven to 180°C (160° fan) | 350F | gas 4.

Tip the wings into a foil-lined roasting tin. Mix together the remaining glaze ingredients and taste - you may want more soy, honey or spice. Pour over the wings and coat thoroughly. Roast in the oven for 30-40 minutes until sticky and cooked.
3.
Meanwhile cook the rice in boiling salted water according to packet instructions. 3 minutes before the end of cooking time, add the broccoli and carrots to the pan to cook.
4.
When the rice is tender, drain thoroughly and leave to steam dry.
5.
Sprinkle the cooked wings with sesame seeds and serve with the rice.
