1 chicken (1.4 kg, ready to cook)
3 Tbsps olive oil
salt
freshly ground peppers
ground paprika (to taste)
200 milliliters Chicken broth
3 tart Apple (such as Granny Smith)
12 mature, purple Plum

Preparation steps

1.

Rinse and pat dry chicken, cut into 8 parts. Brush with oil and season with salt, pepper and paprika. Arrange chicken pieces in a roasting pan and add little broth to the pan, roast in preheated oven at 200°C (approximately 400°F) for about 40-45 minutes, basting occasionally with broth. 

2.

Rinse and quarter apples, core and cut into slices, if desired. Rinse and halve plums, pit. Add both fruit to the pan and roast for 20 more minutes. Remove from oven and serve in a roasting pan.
