Preparation steps

Cook pasta according to package instructions. With a vegetable peeler, shave about 1 tablespoon Parmesan. Finely grate remaining cheese. Rinse chervil and pat dry. Coarsely chop leaves.

Drain penne and toss with grated Parmesan cheese and creme fraiche. Season with cinnamon, salt, and pepper. Fold in half of the chervil. Serve pasta sprinkled with remaining chervil and Parmesan.
