In addition to a large portion of calcium for strong bones, the spicy Parmesan cheese has a lot of muscle-strengthening protein to offer. Ground beef also offers plenty of high-quality protein and, in addition, the mineral iron, which is important for blood formation and oxygen transport in the body.

To make a vegetarian version of the gnocchi minced meat pan, you can use finely chopped mushrooms or lentils instead of the minced meat. You can replace the chicken broth with vegetable broth.

Preparation steps

1.

Peel and finely dice onion and garlic. Clean tomatoes, cut out stalks, wash tomatoes, quarter, remove seeds and cut into small cubes. Wash parsley, shake dry and chop leaves.

2.

Heat oil in a frying pan. Sauté onion with garlic in it for 3 minutes over medium heat. Add meat and fry for 5 minutes. Season everything with salt, pepper and cayenne pepper. Stir in tomato paste, add gnocchi and tomatoes and sauté for another 3 minutes.

3.

Then deglaze with broth. Add strained tomatoes and cream, bring everything to a boil and simmer over low heat for 4 minutes, stirring occasionally. Grate 1 ounce of cheese and mix in. Grate the rest of the cheese.

4.

Season and divide into bowls or deep plates. Sprinkle everything with shaved cheese and the remaining parsley.
