10 Strawberries (sliced lengthways)
½ cup clear honey
cup sugar
cup sunflower oil
½ tsp vanilla extract
6 ozs mixed Seed (pumpkin, sunflower, sesame)
11 ozs mixed Nut (pecan, Brazils, almonds, hazelnuts, chopped or sliced)
2 ½ cups rolled oats
To decorate
Apple chip

Preparation steps

1.
Turn the oven to its lowest setting. Spread the strawberry slices on a rack over a baking tray. Oven dry for 2-3 hours. Set aside to cool.

Increase the oven temperature to 170°C (150°C fan) 325°F gas 3. Line two large baking trays with non-stick baking paper.
3.
Mix together the honey, sugar, oil and vanilla in a large bowl and mix well. Add the seeds, nuts and oats and mix well.
4.
Spread the mixture evenly onto the trays and bake for about 15 minutes, stirring halfway through, until golden brown. Leave to cool completely.
5.
Put into jars and place the strawberries on top. Decorate with dried apple slices.
