1 tsp vanilla extract

4 egg whites

Preparation steps

1.
Preheat oven to 350º F / 175º C. Grease a cookie sheet well or line with parchment paper.
2.
Combine ground hazelnuts, sugar, vanilla, and spices in a bowl. Add coconut and egg white to making a medium-firm dough. Pinch off pieces slightly larger than a walnut. Shape into ovals.
3.
Place on prepared baking sheet. Flatten slightly and bake 15 to 20 minutes or until tops are firm.
