1 cup flour
2 cups italian breadcrumbs
½ tsp freshly ground Black pepper
2 eggs (beaten)
2 Tbsps water
24 boneless chicken tenders
Oil (for frying)
1 pkg frozen French fries
Ketchup (for dipping)

Preparation steps

1.
Place flour in a shallow bowl. Place breadcrumbs and pepper in a separate shallow bowl. In a small bowl, whisk beaten eggs and water together.

One chicken tender at a time, coat the chicken in flour, followed by eggs and breadcrumbs, set aside.
3.
Heat the oil in a deep fryer to 190°C | 375F | gas 5.
4.
Working in small batches, fry the chicken for 6 to 8 minutes, or until golden brown. Remove chicken and drain on absorbent paper towels.
5.
Meanwhile, prepare French fries according to the package instructions. Serving hot with ketchup on the side.
