Preparation steps

1.

Cut tomatoes and onions into slices. Cut croissants in half lengthwise, cover bottom half of each with tomato and onion slices. Place cheese slice on top.

Arrange basil and lettuce leaves on cheese and cover with top half of each croissant. Bake briefly under a preheated oven broiler, watching carefully. Serve immediately.
