Ingredients
for
4
- For the noodles
- 850 grams potatoes
- 150 grams Pastry flour
- 1 egg
- 1 egg yolk
- Ingredients
- salt
- 60 grams butter
- 4 Tbsps ground Poppy seeds
- 3 Tbsps powdered sugar
Preparation steps
1.
Drain, peel, and press the warm potatoes through the ricer. Add the flour, the egg, and yolk and mix until a dough is formed. Let the dough rest briefly. If needed, add additional flour, depending on the water content of the potato variety.
2.
With wet hands, shape the dough into about 8 cm (approximately 3 inch) long noodles. Cook in a pot of boiling salted water for 4 to 5 minutes. Remove with a slotted spoon and drain.
3.
Melt the butter in a frying pan, add the noodles, and stir-fry until golden. Add the poppy seeds and stir to coat. Serve on plates dusted with powdered sugar.
