fresh Lettuce (rinsed)
1 small ripe Tomato (rinsed and sliced)
3 slices deli ham
2 slices deli Cheese (American, Swiss, etc.)
salt (to taste)
freshly ground Black pepper (to taste)

Preparation steps

Slice the baguette in half lengthwise. Spread butter or your favorite condiment on the cut sides of the baguette. On one half, layer lettuce, tomato, ham and cheese. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Sandwich with the remaining half and serve.
