0.333 cup honeydew melon (flesh)
1 firm Banana (peeled and chopped)
1 cup plain Yogurt
1 Vanilla bean (slit lengthways and seeds scraped out)
8 Ice
cup cream (at least 30%)
1 Tbsp Lime juice (to taste)
2 tsps brown sugar
1 Bunsen burner (or cooks' blowtorch)
Garnish

Preparation

Preparation steps

1.
Place the melon, banana, yogurt and vanilla seeds into a blender and blend to a smooth consistency.
2.
Continue blending adding the ice cubes and cream until the smoothie is very creamy.
3.
Add lime juice to taste.
4.
Divide the smoothie between two glasses and sprinkle with brown sugar.
5.
Caramelise the surface using the Bunsen burner/cooks’ blowtorch.
