600 grams Apricot
1 generous pinch cloves
1 chili pepper
1 onion
300 milliliters Chicken broth
4 Tbsps Apple juice

Preparation steps

Rinse apricots, cut in half, remove pits and cut into pieces. Rinse chile pepper, slit lengthwise, remove seeds and cut into rings. Peel onion and cut into small strips.

Place chicken legs in a roasting pan. Pour in broth and 2 tablespoons apple juice. Season with salt and pepper. Cover pan. Bake in preheated 180°C (approximately 350°F) oven for 30 minutes. Baste the chicken with the remaining apple juice. Add apricots, chile pepper and onions to the chicken. Bake, uncovered, about 20 minutes longer. Season with lemon juice, salt, pepper and cloves.

Serve chicken legs with sauce and fruit.
