½ tsp Tomato paste
1 pc Cucumber (about 80 grams)
1 mini round Cheese (about 20 grams)
½ small carrot (about 50 grams)
4 Pumpkin seed

Preparation steps

1.

Spread pumpernickel rounds with the tomato paste.

2.

Peel the cucumber, cut into 2 thick slices and place one on top of each pumpernickel round.

3.

Halve the mini cheese disk horizontally and put the "hedgehog body" on the bread rounds.

4.

Peel carrot. Cut off the rounded sides and cut the rest into thin slices, then into thin sticks, about 2 cm (approximately 3/4 inch) long.

5.

Arrange carrot "spikes" in the cheese, leaving a small corner free.

6.

Press 2 pumpkin seeds as "eyes" deep into corner of each hedgehog and serve.
