400 grams green Asparagus
1 Tbsp vegetable oil
1 onion
1 garlic clove
6 shrimp (deveined and peeled except for the tails)
500 milliliters Vegetable broth
1 tsp Cornmeal
1 egg
salt
freshly ground peppers
soy sauce
scallions (for garnish)

Preparation steps

Peel the bottom third of the asparagus and cut in half.

Peel the onion and garlic and finely chop. Sauté together with the asparagus in hot oil about 5-6 minutes. Then add the shrimp, sprinkle with corn flour and pour in the broth. Boil about 1-2 minutes. Stir in beaten egg and season with salt, pepper and soy sauce. Spoon the soup into warmed bowls and serve sprinkled with chives.
