250 grams Peanuts (coarsely chopped and not salted)
125 milliliters Maple syrup
200 grams sugar
1 pinch salt
1 tsp butter
1 tsp baking soda
Peppermint (to sprinkle)

Preparation steps

1.

Mix the peanuts, syrup, sugar and salt in a pot. Simmer for about 5 minutes. Remove from the heat and stir in the butter.

2.

Carefully mix in the baking soda and pour on an oiled baking sheet. Flatten and sprinkle with peppermints. Allow to cool and break into small pieces. Serve at will.
