Preparation steps

1.

Coarsely chop figs. In a saucepan, bring wine and honey to a boil. Pour mixture over figs and let cool.

2.

Meanwhile, cut off peel and bitter white pith from oranges and mandarins. Quarter and cut into slices. Rinse, quarter and core apples. Peel if desired and cut into pieces.

3.

Mix figs with oranges (reserving up to 4 pieces for garnish). Mix in mandarin slices and apple pieces.

4.

Whip cream with cinnamon and vanilla sugar until stiff. Whip quark with an immersion blender until creamy, then fold into whipped cream. In 4 glasses, arrange fruit mixture and whipped cream in alternating layers. Garnish with reserved orange slices.
