5.333 cups lean Ground beef
salt
freshly ground Black pepper
2 tsps Chili powder
olive oil (for brushing)
To serve
roasted chili peppers
Bacon

Preparation steps

1.
Put the beef into a bowl and season generously with salt and pepper. Add the chilli powder and mix with your hands until combined.
2.
Divide into 8 portions and shape into burgers.
3.
Brush 1 side of the burgers with oil and place on the preheated barbecue. Cook for 4 minutes. Turn over and brush the other side with oil and cook for 4-5 minutes until browned and cooked through.
4.
Serve with barbecued chillies and bacon.
