Ingredients

For the skewers
500 grams Steak fillet (such as sirloin or loin)
16 King prawn (peeled and deveined with the tails on)
1 garlic clove
1 chili pepper
1 Tbsp chopped fresh parsley
1 Lime (juiced)
50 milliliters olive oil
salt
For the salad
2 handfuls mixed Lettuce (such as watercress, baby spinach, sorrel, arugula)
4 Tbsps white balsamic vinegar
1 tsp honey
6 Tbsps olive oil
salt

Preparation steps

Rinse the steaks and shrimp and pat dry. Cut the steaks into bite-sized pieces. Peel the garlic and finely chop. Rinse, trim and finely chop the chile pepper. Mix with the parsley, garlic, lime juice and oil. Add the shrimp and the meat, toss to coat and marinate, covered, in the refrigerator about 1 hour.

Remove from the marinade and thread onto eight wooden skewers. Cook on a hot grill, turning occasionally, about 5 minutes until golden brown, basting occasionally with the marinade. Season with salt.

Rinse, trim and drain the lettuces. Tear into small pieces if necessary. Mix the vinegar, honey and the oil and season with salt.

Arrange the lettuce on plates, drizzle with dressing, and serve with the skewers.
