½ cup dairy-free margarine (scant)
¾ cup light brown sugar
3 eggs
½ cup gluten-free all purpose flour
¼ cup cocoa powder
2 tsps gluten-free Baking powder
0.333 cup Almond flour
¼ cup Soy milk (or almond milk)
4 small, ripe Pear (peeld and thickly sliced)
powdered sugar

Preparation steps

1.
Heat the oven to 180°C (160° fan) 350°F gas 4. Grease 6 × 250ml| 1 cup ovenproof dishes or ramekins.
2.
Beat together the margarine, sugar, eggs, flour, cocoa, baking powder, ground almonds and milk
3.
Layer the mixture with the pear slices in the dishes.
4.
Bake for about 30 minutes, until risen and firm to the touch. Cool in the dishes.
5.
Sift icing sugar over the tops.
