3 Tbsps clarified butter (or oil)
2 cloves garlic cloves (finely chopped)
fresh ginger (peeled and finely chopped)
1 red chili pepper (deseeded and finely chopped)
1 tsp Garam Masala
2 cups Coconut milk
1 cup Fish broth (or water)
20 tiger shrimps (peeled with tails left on)
Lime juice (from 1 lime)
1 Tbsp chopped, fresh cilantro
parsley (to garnish)

Preparation steps

1.
Heat the butter in a wide pan and gently cook the garlic, ginger and chile pepper until soft but not brown.
2.
Add the garam masala, cook for one minute then pour in the coconut milk and fish broth and simmer gently for about 10 minutes.
3.
Add the shrimps and simmer for 5 more minutes or until the shrimps are cooked through. Stir in the lime juice, season with salt and pepper and add the chopped cilantro.
