- 3 ½ ozs Halloumi cheese (cut into 8 pieces)
- 24 cherry Tomatoes
- olive oil
- 1 Tbsp chopped thyme
- To serve
- grilled Pita bread
- Hummus
- red Chard leaf
- freshly milled Black pepper
Preparation steps
1.
Heat the broiler (grill).
2.
Thread the cheese pieces and tomatoes onto skewers (2 pieces of cheese and 3 tomatoes on each).
3.
Brush with olive oil and sprinkle with thyme. Grill for 3-4 minutes on each side until the cheese is browned.
4.
Serve immediately with grilled pitta bread and hummus, garnished with red chard and a sprinkling of black pepper.
