Mayonnaise (to taste)
12 spears chilled, cooked Asparagus (cut into 3 or 4-inch lengths)
1 cup Cheese (finely sliced)
1 Avocado (peeled; stone removed and sliced)
12 slices deli turkey breasts
salt (to taste)
freshly ground Black pepper (to taste)

Preparation steps

1.
Lightly spread mayonnaise on one side of each slice of toasted bread.
2.
Place a layer of asparagus on four of the prepared slices of bread. Top with sliced avocado, sliced turkey, and cheese. Season to taste with salt and pepper and top with remaining bread slices. Cut each sandwich in half diagonally. Serve.
