400 grams Tomatoes
1 onion
1 chili pepper
1 Tbsp olive oil
1 Tbsp Tomato paste
salt
freshly ground peppers
1 tsp dried oregano
2 Tbsps lemon juice
2 tsps Whipped cream (Or crème fraîche)
Tortilla chip (to taste)

Preparation steps

Blanch the tomatoes in boiling water. Remove from the water, peel, and finely dice. Peel and finely dice the onion. Rinse the chili, remove the seeds, and finely dice. Heat the oil in a pan, and sauté the onion. Add the tomatoes, tomato paste, spices, and lemon juice.

Simmer the mixture for 5 minutes, then pass through a fine strainer. Season to taste, remove from the heat, and let cool. Mix in the sour cream. Serve the sauce with tortilla chips.
